- Local storage (on your device). Your theme preference (light or dark), your game settings (auto-flag assist, score uploading, and an optional nickname), and your best times are saved in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
- Optional game records. Only while the Upload scores option is turned on in the game, each finished game sends us its difficulty, start time, duration, result, whether the auto-flag assist was used, and the nickname you set (if any), so it can appear on the leaderboard. If you turn the option off, nothing about your games is sent to us — not even that you played.
- Server logs. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information for each visit (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) for security and operational purposes.
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message (such as your email address), and we use it only to respond.
We do not require accounts, and we do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or payment information.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The site itself uses browser local storage (described above) instead of tracking cookies. Third-party services integrated into the site may set their own cookies, as described in the advertising section below. You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings; clearing them resets your theme preference and locally saved best times.

6. Data Retention
Local storage data remains on your device until you clear it. Server log data, if collected by our hosting provider, is retained only for a limited period according to the provider's standard practices. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your request.
7. Your Choices
- Uncheck Upload scores in the game controls at any time. When it is off, no game data is sent to us — not even that you played.
- Change or clear your nickname any time in the game's Settings dialog; only the current nickname is shown with newly uploaded games.
- Clear local storage or use your browser's private browsing mode to play without saving settings or best times.
- Opt out of personalized advertising using the links in Section 3.
- Contact us at any time to ask questions about the data related to you.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
